Deauville, chic and dynamic

Aptly nicknamed "Paris by the sea", Deauville is characterised by its dynamism. Known worldwide for its huge beach, its parasols, its racecourses, its casino and its American film festival, Deauville is the star of the Côte Fleurie. In an attractive Norman setting, the town offers a number of unmissable activities, be they cultural, sporting or relaxing.

Buying a second home in

Deauville

The seaside resorts of the Côte Fleurie continue to attract people who come to enjoy the charm of the Normandy seaside at only 2 hours from Paris, so the market is doing well. There is a strong demand for family flats with a sea view as well as for outdoor spaces, whether it is a flat or a house. Anglo-Norman villas with 4 to 5 bedrooms and a garden are still very much in demand, even if it means moving away from the centre of Deauville. The price of these villas is between 1.5 and 2.5 million euros.

The different districts of Deauville :

The town centre: this is obviously the liveliest district of Deauville. Organised around the Place Morny and the statue of its namesake, who was the founder of the seaside resort, there are many restaurants and shops as well as superb half-timbered buildings.

Les Planches: this district owes its name to the wooden walkway that runs along the beach of Deauville, which was created in the past to prevent the ladies from getting dirty. Straddling the beach and the shops, it is a very popular area.

The villas: at the back, this inland area is composed of medium-sized villas. Family friendly and quiet, it is a peaceful place to live.
