Saint-Raphaël, gentle and sumptuous

Between the Mediterranean and the limestone Provence, Saint Raphaël is a town with many facets. First of all, the natural environment is exceptional. All along its 36 km of coastline, between fine sandy beaches, creeks cut by the famous red rocks, fragrant paths of the Estérel, a volcanic massif of 32,000 hectares, and hundred-year-old pine forests, nature is a constant source of wonder. Saint Raphaël is also characterised by its historic town centre where small pedestrian streets and buildings from the beginning of the 12th century have been preserved. The old quarter is bordered by modern districts with a wide range of infrastructures offering numerous possibilities for activities throughout the year. The city is in turn : France Nautical resort, diving resort, golf resort, Esterel resort or games town, but also a town of business tourism with its Convention Centre and a town of festivals and events.
