The second most sought-after town on the coast, Trouville is in very high demand and has been for some years now. Trouville-sur-Mer has almost as many houses as flats, representing respectively 47% and 53% of the houses. Prestige properties are in short supply, as large families do not want to part with them. More generally, there is a shortage of fishermen's houses and two/three room properties. Recently a fisherman's house of 80 m² was sold for 330,000 €, i.e. almost 4,000 € per m². As for a 90 m² sea view flat, to be renovated, located on the hill of Trouville, it sold for 400 000 €, that is to say 4 400 € per m². As everywhere, it is the general condition, the presence of a terrace or a garden, the neighbourhood, the orientation as well as the configuration that influence the price of a property.
